Full Itinerary:
Day 1 : Met on arrival at the airport or at City Hotel in Nairobi and drive to Mt. Kenya safari club passing through beautiful landscape in the central part of Kenya full of coffee plantation arriving in time for lunch at Mt. Kenya safari club. Club is located the Equator and gives a spectacular view of the famous Mt. Kenya with a lot of snow at the peaks. After lunch you can have a chance to visit animal orphanage next to the club, golf course or relax at the swimming pool. Dinner and overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club – FB
Day 2 - After breakfast, depart the lodge at around 1000hrs for the drive to Aberdares National part to arrive in time for lunch at Aberdares country club – the base hotel for the Ark Hotel. After lunch board the Ark’s bus for the transport to The Ark Hotel; well set in a wildlife rich area with a well light waterhole during the night which gives clients a chance to view animals like elephants, buffalo, rhino, gazelles among other animals as the came to drink water from their rooms balconies. Day 3 - After breakfast drive back to Aberdares Country Club where and meet your driver guide for the drive to Lake Nakuru passing through one on the most beautiful landscape of the Great Rift Valley such as Thompson Falls arriving in time for your lunch. Lake Nakuru National is a home of thousands Flamingos, Rhinos, leopards among other animals which you will have a chance to see during your afternoon game drives. Day 4 - After breakfast depart for the drive to Masai Mara with a short game drive en route out of the park. During the drive you will pass by Mt.Longonot and Suswa hills through Narok town the home of Masai people arriving in time for lunch at Keekorok Lodge. Day 5 - Spend the whole day on game drives in search of game with all meals at the lodge. With prior arrangement, you can have breakfast early in the morning and depart with picnic lunch for your game drives returning back to the lodge early in the evening. Day 6 - After breakfast depart for the drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch at Karen Blixen Restaurant. Later visit Karen Blixen museum, giraffe manor and brief stop at the craft shops where you can pick some African (Akamba) Artifacts at reasonable prices. En route to the Airport, stop at the famous carnivore restaurant for your dinner before being dropped back to the Airport for your flight back home.
Upon check-in your camp/Lodge:
your guide will arrange a time convenient for your late afternoon game drive and on when you return to the lodge for dinner and over night, your
guide will make suggestions about a departure time for a game drive in the
morning. He will however take your direction on what time you would like
to start your in depth game drives for the day or what time to depart for your next destination.
