Welcome to your basic ki-swahili lesson! The following words and phrases are what you will most likely encounter from the moment you step off the plane and through out your stay in our beautiful land. To get you involved right away in two-way communication, we have include dialogues centering around typical responses to every day interactions. In Swahili, each vowel in a word is pronounced. As an example Saa (watch) is pronounced Sa-a, watalii (tourists) is pronounce wa-ta-li-i and kelele (meaning noise) is pronounce ke-le-le.
