This is a 1 week safari and culture of different communities which your tour guide will take you throughout the drive with a visit to Masai village in Masai Mara National Reserve and Samburu villages in Samburu National Reserve with 1 night in Lake Nakuru National Park and 1 night Lake Naivasha with a boat ride in the lake. Animals likely to see during game drives includes: Elephants. Lions, Rhinos, Leopard, Buffalos, Cheetah, Giraffes, Zebras and different types of gazelles. For bird watchers, it’s also the best safari with lots of bird species to spot along the whole safari with its climax at Lake Nakuru National Park and Naivasha. The safari also combines very well with beach holiday in Kenya Coast as it starts from Nairobi and ends in Nairobi where we can arrange your flight to Mombasa and reasonable rate.
Full Itinerary:
DAY 1:0800hrs, depart from Nairobi to Masai Mara via Narok arriving in time for lunch at Mara Sarova or similar. Afternoon game drive. Overnight at Mara Sarova or similar
DAY 2: Day spent on game drives with all meals at the camp/lodge. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova or similar.
DAY 3: Early breakfast. Depart on game drive en route out of Mara for the drive to Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives in search of game like, Rhino, lions, leopard, buffalo among others and a lot of bird species including thousands of Flamingos in the lake. Dinner and Overnight at Lion Hill Lodge/ Flamingo Hill Camp.
DAY 4: Morning game drives returning back in time for breakfast. After breakfast drive to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure with an option of playing golf or visit to Hell’s gate National Park. Dinner and overnight at Great Rift Valley Lodge or Naivasha Simba Lodge.
DAY 5: Early morning boat ride before breakfast. After breakfast drive to Shaba National reserve arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives in search of game with a chance to see rare Grevy zebra. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge.
DAY 6: Full day spent on game drives with a visit to Samburu National Reserve. All meals at Sarova Shaba Lodge.
DAY 7: After breakfast depart with a short game drive en route out of the reserve for the drive to Nairobi with a drop off at your hotel/Airport or connect a flight to Mombasa for a beach holiday extension after lunch at carnivore restaurant.
